La Santa Maria was the biggest caravel used by Columbus on his voyage to the New World in 1492. This art shows what should be the main storage of the ship, based on replicas at real scale anchored in the Wharf of the Caravels Museum, in Huelva, Spain. We try to approach to what could have been a moment on one of those nights during that historical voyage, in which the Moon shone its light onto the entire ocean, and sailors kept hope for finding land.
