The Cucuteni-Trypillian culture (also Tripolye culture), flourished during the Neolithic-Eneolithic period (5200 to 3500 B.C.), in Eastern Europe, and it had been extended from the Carpathian Mountains to the Dniester and Dnieper regions (today part of Ukraine and Romania). As we see in archaeological artifacts, the art made by this culture depicts a very singular detail that gives beauty to their world view, giving a unique character within the cultural mosaic on the ancient Europe. This female figure could have represented a goddess, with a very equilibrate shape of a female curves that plays well with the corporal decoration made by carved lines. At Blueprinted Education, we create, by using art, one of many archaeological figurines recovered from Romania, highlighting the beauty of women in the context of archeology.
