This work reproduces a perspective of what was the Church of Asuncion, in the indigenous community of Izalco, El Salvador, built in the 16th century during the Spanish colony. It was finally demolished by the earthquake of July 29, 1773, which also destroys the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, also known as Antigua Guatemala.Today, it is considered a historical and archaeological jewel, witness to a tumultuous past.
