This band deployed from a "Copador" style pottery created during the late Classic period (AD 600-800) in south-east Maya, shares a traditional ceremonial scene with indigenous priests wearing sumptuous and reverent attire. This amazing decoration depicted on an archaeological artefact sheltered in a private collection in San Salvador, El Salvador, shares the beauty of the native ornamentation and the decorative technique of the time, whose simplicity and skill in the use of rustic instruments for art, make clear the greatness of the Mayan ability in the decoration and the transmission of its cultural ideas.
