This glossy mug will become an irreplaceable item in your everyday routine thanks to its perfect size and sturdy shape. Its brilliant print will retain its quality even when dish-washed and microwaved.

What it's about?

This work replicates in full colour an extract of the most common style vessels named Copador, whose art was created by the Mayas of the Late Classic period (A.D. 600-800), which inhabited the Western part of Honduras and El Salvador. Ancient Mayan people considered the monkeys as a symbol of the sacred, the underground world, the movement, the marriage, the pregnancy, and the humans of previous creations.

This beautiful and stylized art is based on a real prehispanic vessel sheltered on a private collection in San Salvador, El Salvador, recreated by our archaeologists and artists in Blueprinted Education.

Thank you for shopping with us! And remember, our art and its meaning will also give you something else to share.
