Nature was always part of the native cultures in the ancient American societies. Here is a band deployed from a "Copador" style pottery created during the Late Classic period (AD 600-800) in Southeast Mayan. This art shows two stylized parrots, drawn and painted with rustic instruments by the ancient artisans. Much of the local fauna is represented as part of the ceramic decoration, especially in pieces used for ceremonial purposes. These beautiful birds adorned the mountainous and jungle landscape of the region.

This beautiful and stylized art based on the real prehispanic vessel sheltered on a private collection in San Salvador, El Salvador, is recreated by our archaeologists and artists in Blueprinted Education, to be shared in your room or favourite place in your office, home , study, or living area.

This matte, museum-quality paint is printed on durable, velvety, archival paper. This art also includes a small caption that you can show when it is displayed or you can cover it with the framed mat.

Sizes: 8x10 and 12x16 inches. If there is a specific size you would prefer, please contact us and we will do our best to meet your needs!

Our print is shipped in a tube. Frame is not included, but we will also be happy to give you some suggestions about framing shapes, mat colours and material for this kind of illustration.

Thank you for shopping with us! And remember, our art and its meaning will also give you something else to share.
