This beautiful stylized figure from an archaeological vessel found in Asanyamba, a far-flung site in El Salvador, dates back to an ancient agricultural tradition in the indigenous communities of the southeast Maya, such as the use of coa, or cane, to deposit the seed in the fertile soil. From the point of view of the Maya, this activity resembles the fecundity of the earth by the use of a stick inserted in the soil to deposit the seeds.

This beautiful and stylized art, based on the real pre-Hispanic vessel (Salua style, A.D. 600-900) sheltered on the Anthropology Museum in San Salvador, El Salvador is recreated by our archaeologists and artists in Blueprinted Education, to be shared in your room or favourite place in your office, home , study, or living area. It's hand-stretched on a poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte finish coating.

• Fade-resistant
• 20.5 mil-thick poly-cotton blend canvas
